We at igus® have no minimum order quantity, so you can use this same rack system for small customers, and we can certainly supply either components or subassemblies, so there is no need to try and build a linear system yourself – you buy the whole thing complete from igus®.
drylin® is where igus® offers linear solutions using polymer elements for sliding instead of the traditional rolling elements. This is used with either aluminium extrusions or stainless steel shafts.
The good thing about drylin® is that it’s not limited by speed – because we have no moving parts – these are gliding, sliding parts – nothing has to catch up with itself.
Low Cost Automation is a group of products within the igus® dry-tech® product range. These products range from something as simple as a lead screw and nut, through to a fully working robot arm.
There are three main robot types that we offer within our Low Cost Automation range. These all have their place and will be selected depending on the task that is required of the robot.
The robots can be described as, fast, flexible and modular.
