iglidur on tour donates to the Gosset Ward Northampton

iglidur on tour hits the up and went off to a great start with a charitable donation towards a local hospital ward. The Gosset Ward is a neonatal intensive care unit which cares for newborn babies who require some form of special high dependency or intensive care nursing.Currently, Gosset Ward is in need of a neonatal emergency care transport incubator and ventilator, an incubator trolley, and a new ultrasound echo machine so that babies’ examinations can be gentle and non-invasive. Together with the service contracts required to support the new equipment, the total cost is likely to be in excess of £150,000. Gosset Ward is the Mayor of Northampton’s chosen charity and igus are delighted to work in partnership with the Mayor in raising vital funds for this wonderful organisation.

A charity event was held at The Guildhall in Northampton, on Wednesday the 5th, where special guests such as the Mayor Of Northampton and ward paediatrician got to see the car that made the donation possible. To mark the occasion, igus have also donated special edition “iglidur-on-tour” teddies for all the children in the Gosset ward.
