Can igus® bearings cope with high static loads?
Yes the igus® bearings are very strong and as they are linear they are as sturdy as the housings they are put in so high static loads are not an issue.
Can you use the igus® belt driven and lead screw systems in privacy screens/ particians?
Absolutely. We have a large range of standard products that can be used or we can custom make something with different materials and dimensions. Just let us know your requirements and we will sort it.
Do you have to grease the bearings?
No, all igus® products are lubrication free making them low in maintenance too.
Can you offer special designs?
Yes we can. We can machine to reduce weight in products, we can tribo coat to increase friction. If you have a problem we will help solve it.
Can you set the friction on linear bearings?
We can with certain spring loaded housings. Depending on the friction required depends on the springs we would suggest.
